Friday, April 29, 2011

Good Morning,
Whatcha know? I know it is Friday and the weekend is here. If you're happy and you know it rattle your tackle box and shake your minnow bucket. Yep, it's finally here. Enjoy yourself as it is so pretty outside. On days like today I don't understand how anybody can say God isn't real. But they do and for that we have a job to do, show them by the changes He makes in us - daily. Don't stop improving. Improving is defined as becoming more like God. Any other definition of improving is an error. Have a super day.
Bob Schwartz' heart cath was aok - no stints needed. Betty Moore is home and feeling better than she has in a long time. Patty Walger will have back surgery next Wednesday. Cheryl Gaylord's back is not real good and she will have more doctor's visits to see what needs to be done. Liz Peddy is headed toward more back injections, soon, too. Mrs. Seale, long-time friend, is not doing well, either. Please pray for these today.
This Sunday is your last opportunity to contribute to the Annie Armstrong Mission Offering for North American missions. Our goal is $938.00 and we are at about $600 so far. Please give as you feel led this Sunday. Also, this Sunday will be the last chance you will have to take one of the old hymnals. They are on the table in the foyer. On Monday they will be donated to another Baptist church in the Houston area. Don't forget!
Nobody makes a greater mistake than he who does nothing because he could only do little.
See you later, love, ken
