Good Morning,
Looks like Arnold said "I'll be bock," to more than one sweet thing. Only in California... and New York and Washington, D.C. and Texas and... Boys and girls can you spell "example". Now can you spell "bad". Ms. Molly said, "If politicians were of any less aptitude we would have to water them every day." It's midweek again and Friday is visible on the horizon. The Astros may just have them a new owner with a fitting name - Mr. Crane. They need a crane to pull them out of the cellar. The Braves did them in again yesterday. Will Tipper Jones ever retire? I think he continues to play just so he can play the Astros. Why not join us tonight for Bible Study, barbecue chicken and links, baked beans, corn-on-the-cob, potato salad and lots of prayer. It all starts at 6pm.
Continue to pray for the Walter's family. Along with Liz Peddy whom they just rolled into surgery at 7:10. I missed her but I was able to pray with Jim. I went to Methodist first and that was wrong as she is at St. Luke's. Cheryl Gaylord has a doctor's appointment today to check out her back situation. Patty Walger is getting around very good but did fall on Monday, but was at the Grayson Center last night and made some little sandwiches that were mighty fine. Pray, please.
You missed a great time and a great crowd at the Grayson Center last night. Thanks to all who make that possible each month. You're the best. I think the final head count last night was about 120, so if you weren't there you missed a lot of nice people.
Please don't forget our special offering for the church roof at the church at Tecolote outside of Alice. Our goal is $2500 and right now we are at about $800 with two weeks left on the drive. We need your help. Please pray and then give as God directs. This is an ongoing youth group ministry that needs your support. Please.
Saturday night at 6:30pm we will host the BAGMA Showcase. There will be great music from a number of individuals and soloists including Zach Magnusson. I will have the full lineup tomorrow. Zach's name is the only one my memory can lock on right now.
I need to check my deodorant as normally this computer room at Methodist is abuzz with people and I am the only one in here today. Maybe I used Raid instead of Right Guard. Oh well.
Raid gets rid of bugs only when you use it. Christianity will change the world only when we use it. Telling the bugs you have Raid does no good. Telling the world you are a Christian does little good. Using it does better. Tell the world about Christ - if you must, open your mouth.
See you later, love, ken.
