Good Morning,
It is a fact, Jack. Today is Friday. When the sun hits your back like a yellow jacket attack, it's global warming. If Dean Martin would sing it, it would sound better. He made pizza pie and amore sound pretty good. If it keeps this up I may have to roll over to the Gore side of the road. Enjoy your weekend, comrades. Roast some wieners, have some lemonade and get scorched. Sounds like a meeting in Washington, doesn't it. On to lighter things. Don't ask LeBron for change for a dollar. He will only give you three quarters. This newsletter will be in Irish-Cherokee starting Monday as I feel much more comfortable communicating in my native language. Oh, I forgot you are not a state of Texas committee. But, I've only been here 58 years. I'm a slow learner. The Pittsburgh Pirates and the Harlem Globetrotters have one thing in common - they both have a "throw - down" opponent. Alligator gar are pets in Japan and a delicacy in France and hood ornaments in Lufkin - probably Cleveland, too, around Fostoria Road. You might be a red neck... Now I'm hungry for fish. Way to go. It's Fridayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next Tuesday is Grayson Center Gospel Night with Men of Praise and Legacy of Grace. Make plans now as these two groups will knock your socks off and heal in-grown toe nails. Promise.
Then the next next Tuesday we will be at Premier's Restaurant with One Voice for Gospel Night there. They have a much better looking bass guitarist than the other groups we have there. The rest of the band can really play, too.
Before all of that, Vacation Bible School starts Monday at 9am. You don't want any kid you know to miss this as we Kick It Old School with the Go Fish Guys.
Even before that, Sunday is Father's Day and Mission Trip report Sunday. It will be a great day.
George Washington Carver was much more than the peanut scientist. He was a great individual. He wrote," How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these."
See you Sunday. Love, ken
