Good Morning,
June 1 is here. Five months of 2011 are toast. Hurricane season begins today. Oh joy. From what I can understand, we pay a firm to predict how many hurricanes there will be in a season. I don't get it. If we are going to have 15 does that really matter compared to 10 or 20 especially if the first one blows us away? If they predict 16 and number 17 is knocking on the San Luis Pass bridge do we say it can't be true as there were to be only 16. If the company is wrong do we take their check back? Does it really matter how many? Do we not track each one no matter which number it is. June, the month of love and brides. I met my bride thirty years ago, this month, I think. Wow, she's still looking smokin' hot. I watched part of Forrest Gump again last night while the baseball game was between innings and that reminded me of hurricanes. Stupid is as stupid does. Run Forrest run. From hurricanes to fine ladies, all the news, all the time. We aim to please. Have a great Wednesday.
Tonight why not join us for Bible Study, prayer, King's Ranch Chicken, tamales, quesadillas, guacamole, charro beans, etc. It all starts at 6.
Tomorrow night is Spirit Night at Chick - Fil - A , 5-8 pm, Wallisville at BW8. Come say thanks to a business that says Sunday is not a chicken selling day and support our motorcycle ministry, too.
Please remember these folks today in your prayers - Ruby Jones, Jerry Cutaia, Chave Cardenas and Marilyn Cisneros.
A woman dreamed that she wandered into a shop at the mall and found Jesus behind the counter. "You can have anything your heart desires," Jesus said. Astounded but pleased, the woman asked for peace joy, happiness, wisdom and freedom from fear. Then she added, "Not just for me, but for the whole earth." Jesus smiled and said, "I think you misunderstood me. We don't sell fruits, only seeds."
Get to growing. See you tonight, love, ken.
